Vision

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be concentrating on Vision. With our first annual Sinners & Saints retreat coming up at the end of the month, now is a great time to share with each other where we’re at in our faith, ideas we have for being church together, and planning for our future as a community. Bring your questions, your ideas, your feedback, and come prepared to start the brainstorming process this Sunday.

One of the richest part of being a small church is having the opportunity to get to know one another. This summer, we’ll be continuing to have regular fun events to hang out and spend time together. Join us for our first retreat at the Lake House on Lake Sammamish August 27-29. Stay up-to-date by joining the Community Involvement Team Google Group List. UPCOMING EVENTS

Thanks to all who were able to join us or support our first partnership with the University District Food Bank! We were able to join in donating fresh dairy products and hygiene items during a busy night. It was such a fun and encouraging time to have so many of us volunteering together. If you would like to join us during our weekly volunteer night, we’re at the U-District Food Bank Thursdays from 5-8pm.

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOD BANK ROTATION: U-District Food Bank, 5-8pm

Join us on Thursday nights as we hang out with our neighbors, sort food, laugh, bag groceries, and have a good time. Up to 5 volunteers per week, send an email to connect@sinnersandsaintschurch.com to sign up or for more info!

We’re setting the date for our first-ever churchwide retreat for August 27-29. Note the date change! Let me know if you can make those dates, and if you’d like to be part of the planning committee!

This summer, Ramen Night is transitioning from once-a-week Tuesday night event to once-a-month. The first Tuesday of the month, TONIGHT, still means a bowl of steaming ramen at Lounjin, but other Tuesdays will be devoted to fun activities planned by church folks. If you’d like to join in planning fun events, casual outings like picnics at Gasworks, kayaking on Lake Union, or dinner at Paseo’s near Golden Gardens, let me know! email: connect@sinnersandsaintschurch.com
