Sinners & Saints Newsletter: March 14-21, 2010

March 16, 2010

Dear Friends,

After all the hours of work, watching Alan throw his laptop across the room a few times, and a content writing marathon this past weekend, the website is here! Check out http://www.sinnersandsaintschurch.com, pass it along to you friends and neighbors, and enjoy. As you’ll see, we are still working on some of the details, the most amusing of which is that God, in all God’s mysteriousness, refuses to be defined. You’ll see what I mean on the ‘what we believe’ page, if you get there before I do. Also, the church name will be changing sometime in the next day from “Sinners and Saints Covenant Church” to “Sinners and Saints Church”. For reasons we have shared before, we are no longer affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church, as of today. So, if there’s someone you’d like to yell at about our theology, that would be me. Leah@sinnersandsaintschurch.com. I will likely post about that again sometime soon, but for now you’ll just have to join us for Ramen or Sunday Dinner, or a cup of coffee on the Ave if you would like to talk.

Speaking of unemployment, I’m also looking for a part time job in the University District, ideally something connected to ministry, social services, or education. If you know of anyone who might be looking, feel free to shoot me an email.

Peace to you this week,

    1. Looks awesome. Great work you two. And I like the copy for the “what we believe” page — so many are just a babble, but yours sounds like you actually spent time writing it!
